  • To make sure baby is comfortable and you get the photos of your dreams, it is ideal to schedule your newborn session within the first two weeks of arrival. If they are beyond that first two weeks, that's okay! Let me know when you contact me and we will make it work!
  • Give baby a warm bath two hours before their session if possible to make sure nails, hair and skin are squeaky clean.
  • Keep baby awake as long as possible before your session so they are exhausted and easily moldable into positions for their photos. I know... You'll hate me now but you'll love me later!
  • Feed baby before you leave for your session and bring an extra bottle to feed right before photos and to soothe baby during photos. Bring a sucker just in case baby is fussy, if you're not using a sucker I have many things to soothe baby alternatively!
  • PARENTS, wear something you won't sweat in! The room will be warm for baby so that means it will be HOT for the rest of us. I recommend you wear pants, a t-shirt and bring a sweater or jacket according to the weather. I have snacks and drinks for you as well in studio, It's your time to sit back and relax!
  • Bring everything for changing babies diaper and include a backup blowout outfit, I have a changing table in studio.
  • Of course I provide all of the props for your session and have a newborn client closet, but bring any props you would like to from home! Props such as special stuffed animals, blankets, a special handmade outfit or any outfits of your choice, little shoes or a passed down family item!
  • Bring baby to studio in a simple outfit you don't care about, NOT the outfit you want them in for the photo session... I promise you, they know where they are going and they will poop or spit up on it leading you to utter disappointment... So avoid it by putting on a onesie and some throwaway pants!
  • Stay clam parents, your session is going to be so cute and so calm I don't want you to stress! Babies cry, babies spit up, babies use the bathroom and babies are unpredictable... Guess what, IM READY FOR IT ALL! Sit back and get excited because your dream gallery is in the works!

  • Clean your engagement ring either the day before or same day as your engagement session. You can get it cleaned at any jewelry store or Dawn Dish Soap, warm water and a clean soft toothbrush will do the trick at home!
  • Ladies, do not get your hair colored or spray tan the day before, color your hair and spray tan two to three weeks prior to your session to ensure the color is perfect by the time your session arrives and if any fixes are needed you have time. Set a hair and makeup appointment for the day of your session, make sure you have an hour between the end of hair and makeup and your session start time in case there is traffic... Its Rhode Island, there will be traffic! Nail appointments are good to schedule three days before your session.
  • Men, get a fresh cut and clean up your facial hair five days to a week before your session in case of breakouts. Clean your nails the day of your session!
  • Contact me about a desired date, time and location. I will travel anywhere so don't worry about the location if it is out of state!
  • Please bring a small bag or purse to put Apple Watches, hair elastics, fir bits, phones and Keys in! Please have nothing in your pockets when you leave your car.
  • If you are over 21 years of age and would like Champagne to pop I will bring a bottle!
  • Pack two outfits and two pairs of shoes in case you would like an outfit change.
  • Pick a fun Post-Session Date Night spot! Eat on the water at The Coast Guard House or go grab lunch and take a walk on the beach while eating Iggy's!

  • 18+ ONLY!
  • DON'T STRESS! You are going to have a great time and look absolutely stunning in your photos regardless, so why stress! I worked in the Emergency Room and on a trauma floor for 8 years before I became a photographer full time, I have definitely seen it all and I am a judgement free space! All I want is for you to be comfortable and have the best time!
  • Wax, sugar or shave all of the things you would like to be hairless, or leave a little hair if that's what makes you happy! Do this three to five day prior to your session.
  • I highly recommend a lip scrub the day before your session and keep your lips hydrated after the scrub all the way till your session start time.
  • If you would like hair and makeup before your session I have a great team of ladies that will pamper you and inhance your beautiful features in studio or at the salon so you feel confident in every single photo! Going into your photo session all natural with your natural features is completely welcome, whatever makes you comfortable makes me and your photos happy!
  • Bring three to five outfits and choose two of your favorite to get sexy in and have fun! Don't forget your accessories and shoes!
  • If you or you and your spouse have any "props" you would like to bring, be my guest! The more handcuffs the better right? (Please don't bring anything internal, It is strictly external props ONLY! You won't be doing the acts, you will be professionally posing sexually. Yes I really have to add this.)
  • YOU DO NOT AND WILL NOT BE FORCED BY MYSELF OR YOUR SPOUCE TO POSE OR DO ANYTHING EITHER OF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IN A SINGLE SESSION OR COUPLE SESSION! You have a voice and I am here to respect you and your partner. I am simply here to take the photos you desire regardless of the amount of spice!
  • Ladies, do not get your hair colored or spray tan the day before your session, color your hair and spray tan two to three weeks prior to your session to ensure the color is perfect by the time your session arrives and if any fixes are needed you have time. If you choose to get your hair and makeup done elsewhere before your session please make the appointment right after you book your session with me. Nail appointments are good to schedule three days before your session.
  • Men, get a fresh cut and clean up your facial hair five days to a week before your session in case of breakouts. Clean your nails the day of your session!
  • Eat and drink lightly before your session to reduce the chances of bloat or discomfort during posing. THEN ORDER A GIANT MEAL DIRECTLY AFTER! Or before... Im not here to tell you how to feel!
  • Start drinking lots of water everyday three weeks before your session for  natural dewy skin in your photos.
  • If you are a person who religiously gets tattoos, I personally recommend not getting any one month before your session.
  • Use clear deodorant the day of your session and show up braless with no underwear, I recommend wearing a baggy t-shirt and baggy sweatpants with sandals (no socks). These all cause skin abrasions in photos.
  • Don't worry about being nervous or a little out of your comfort zone! Everyone is at first but I promise you will have so much fun and feel so confident and beautiful!
